What is MixMix?
The back office for a salon. Your team works the way they always have — MixMix records the colour, keeps stock current (colour, foils, gloves, the lot), writes the supplier orders, brings in your bookings and shows you what every service and stylist earns.
What do we need to run it?
A device and a scale. One tablet by the colour bar, a shared phone, or every stylist on their own — whatever suits how your salon works.
Does it slow the team down?
No. The weighing already happens. We just stop it from disappearing.
What if the wifi drops?
Everything keeps working and catches up later. Nobody waits for a network mid-colour.
Do we have to charge by the gram?
No. Keep fixed prices, charge by time, or charge for product — whatever you do now. MixMix shows what each service actually cost you either way.
Do we have to leave our booking system?
No. MixMix works with Treatwell, Setmore and any other booking system, so visits show up on the floor with the right stylist. If you’d rather drop the extra subscription, add our own booking page for €15 a month per salon.
What does it actually save us?
Three things, in the order you'll notice them: the admin (ordering and stocktakes stop being a job), the over-ordering (you buy against real usage, not a guess), and the product going down the sink. We only ever show you what was measured — we won't invent a saving to put on a slide.
What can the assistant actually do?
Most of the back office. It reads everything — stock, spend, services, clients, who did what — so you can just ask. And it acts: drafts and sends supplier orders, books in a delivery, books or moves a visit, adds a stylist, pulls a report. How much it does without asking is a setting: flag it, draft it, or handle it under a limit you set. It won't touch payments.
